GROM Audio Hiring for Embedded Software Engineer Job at Plano, TX Full Time

We are looking for a passionate embedded software developer to work on the next generation automotive integration platform.
We deal with many aspects of car electronics and looking for a person to take care of some critical areas in our upcoming products for car infotainment and self-driving.
We primarily deal with C/C++/Java languages with RTOS/Linux environment.

Responsibility

• Execute full software development cycle from design to implementation on our proprietary hardware platforms
• Work in vehicles and on the bench to address the code compatibility in different vehicles
• Work with our development and testing team to ensure the proper functionality is achieved
• Interface with the electrical engineering team on a daily basis and troubleshoot board level issues
• Troubleshoot at software and hardware level

Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in delivering embedded system solutions while meeting project deadlines and maintaining code quality
• C/C++ programming on ARM 32bit processors
• Expertise in development and debugging using RTOS or embedded Linux platforms

• Good level of understanding the schematics and BSP level board startup
• Experience with board bring-up, use of oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
• Knowledge of I2C, SPI, UART, RS232, USB protocols
• Proficiency with written and spoken English
