Position:

English Tutor

Work schedule and location:

Part-time, flexible schedule; online, no commute to work

Compensation:

$55-$70 per hour, based on credentials, experience, and performance

Description of role:

  • Teach the one-on-one online class to Chinese international students
  • Plan lessons, maintain records and follow up after class

Skills and requirements:

  • Expertise in the subject(s): can help students master both the content and the test-taking strategies
  • Teachers/tutors who are currently teaching the subject(s) preferred
  • Passion for teaching, patience and positive attitudes in motivating students
  • English proficiency required
  • Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree preferred
