primary duties of a supervisor include:

• Assigning tasks to employees and overseeing workflow of the department to reach productivity goals.

• Answering questions from employees and providing hands-on direction and guidance

• Training new employees on company procedures

• Coaching existing employees on new tasks and responsibilities

• Creating and monitoring performance goals and deadlines that align with the company’s objectives

• Monitoring employee work tasks and reassigning duties as required.

• Addressing questions or complaints from customers

Responsibilities:

· Pulling parts from bin boxes

· Packaging for shipment

· Receiving material for machine shop

· Measuring parts for accuracy using caliper

· Kit assemblies

· Some lifting may be required.

· Assess order picking requirements for the day (monitor the printer regularly and make sure orders are organized by their priority) including international shipment.

· Assess receiving requirements for the day.

· Make sure cycle count schedule is adhered to.

· Communicate with the sales team over emails/phones.

· Order shipping supplies and monitor shipping supply levels each week.

· Troubleshoot inventory inaccuracies.

· Maintain open communication with USA warehouse.

· Weekly: review and correct any orders that are “not shipped” in NAV

• Stand and walk picking parts throughout the day.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to learn new tasks quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, meet deadlines and multi-task.
• Ability to work independently, within a team environment, and under minimal supervision.
