Located in a tranquil bush setting in Toohey Forest, Griffith’s Early Childcare centres welcome children from three months to five years. Our dedicated team offers a nurturing, engaging and stimulating environment assisting the children of Griffith University staff, students and the wider community to grow and develop their potential.

This is a continuing, full- time position based at the Nathan campus.

Duties

• Support the Lead Educator to achieve the efficient and effective running of a childcare room.
• Assist with implementing the various aspects of the day-to-day running of the ‘Indoor/Outdoor’ program.
• Build attachments with the children, nurturing, protecting and promoting their wellbeing.

About You

• Completion of a Certificate 3 in Early Education and Care with relevant work experience in long day care.
• Willing to study towards a Diploma in early childhood
• Suitability Card: Commission For Children And Young People And Child Guardian (Blue Card), Senior First Aid Certificate including Resuscitation, Asthma And Anaphylaxis – Please note, if not already acquired or lapsed, you will be supported in obtaining / reinstating these if necessary.
