Council is seeking applications from enthusiastic motivated individuals for the following position.

ACCOUNTING OFFICER (Permanent)

The purpose of the Accounting Officer is to ensure the timely and accurate processing, maintenance and reconciliation of financial transactions including assets, stores and cash in accordance with council’s policies and procedures and statutory requirements and to assist with other finance/revenue related activities within the section, including debt recovery for rates and water.

Qualifications: The successful applicant will require to hold a current Australian driver licence. Please include copies of all relevant licenses and qualifications with your application.

Skills & Knowledge: The successful applicant will require excellent computer and customer service skills with exceptional organisational and meeting deadline skills.

Hours of work: 35 hours per week.

Salary and conditions: Annual salary range from $62,594.90 to $68,853.15 (Grade 9). Plus Superannuation and rostered day off once a month.
