Greystones Group has an opportunity for a HR Director. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR professional to join our fast-growing federal government contracting company as an HR Director. As the HR Director, you will play a critical role in shaping and implementing our HR strategies and initiatives to support our rapidly expanding workforce. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong HR expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for the federal government contracting industry. This position requires that the candidate is able to go into the Washington Navy Yard office once a week.

Position Description:

Specific Responsibilities are as follows:

• Develop and Implement HR Strategies: Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company’s goals, culture, and federal government contracting regulations.
• Talent Acquisition: Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection and onboarding of qualified candidates. Ensure compliance with federal hiring regulations and maintain a diverse and inclusive workforce.
• Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to managers and employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and compliance. Resolve employee relations issues, conduct investigations when necessary, and recommend appropriate actions.
• Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management programs, including goal-setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans. Train managers on effective performance management techniques.
• Compensation and Benefits: Manage the design, implementation, and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs in accordance with federal government contracting requirements and market trends.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as specific requirements for federal government contractors. Conduct audits, develop policies and procedures, and provide training to promote a culture of compliance.
• HR Systems and Processes: Evaluate and optimize HR systems, processes, and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Implement HRIS enhancements and oversee data integrity and ing.
• Employee Engagement and Development: Drive employee engagement initiatives, such as training and development programs, recognition programs, and employee surveys. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
• HR Metrics and Analytics: Track key HR metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives. Prepare regular s and presentations for executive leadership.
• Change Management: Support organizational change initiatives and assist in managing change by providing guidance, communication, and training to employees and managers.
• Review bimonthly payroll system outputs for accuracy.
