As we continue to grow, we’re in search of an experienced, creative, and detail-oriented Front End Software Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Front End Software Developer you will be primarily tasked with building out sophisticated user interfaces using TypeScript. This role is heavily centered on front-end development, incorporating both UI and UX principles to create intuitive, engaging, and efficient applications. While graphic design skills will prove beneficial in creating visually appealing interfaces, it’s important to note that this is not a purely graphic design role. We’re seeking someone with extensive coding experience, specifically in TypeScript, and a proven track record in developing and implementing UI/UX strategies. Your role will be critical in blending aesthetics with functionality, shaping the user experience through a mix of design acuity and technical expertise.

This role is mostly remote but does require that the candidate can come into the Washington, DC office twice a month to meet with the customer.

Specific Responsibilities are as follows:

• Develop and implement top-notch user interfaces leveraging modern technologies, predominantly within the ReactJS ecosystem. Experience with Vue.js will also be considered for candidates with strong UI/UX design expertise.
• Employ existing UI libraries such as Material-UI, Bootstrap, BlueprintJS to expedite development and maintain a coherent design language.
• Collaborate closely with the product team to conceptualize and prototype design concepts.
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to optimize the user experience.
• Consistently validate and iterate designs to ensure high-quality user experience.
