The Talent Acquisition Advisor is responsible for supporting and executing talent acquisition strategies that enable the successful achievement of our business goals across the UK & Continental Europe. The role is responsible for sourcing top talent to meet current and future staffing requirements, and will also oversee the interview, selection and offer processes across assigned areas of the organisation.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Role Responsibilities:

• Support execution of the recruitment strategy across the UK & Continental Europe including talent attraction, CV screening and shortlisting, in addition to managing the interview and offer process for assigned business units.
• Lead sourcing and headhunting of qualified applicants from a variety of creative channels, including contacting leads from social networks, online tools, referrals and database sourcing.
• Support the Talent Acquisition Partner across both Corporate and Operations senior recruitment as and when required.
• Develop a detailed understanding of the needs of the business in order to meet and plan for current and future staffing requirements.
• Review and launch advertisements on careers websites and job boards, monitoring ongoing success of the respective channels.
• Proactively influence and support increasing diversity of talent through delivery of general and specific attraction activities and initiatives.
• Guide hiring managers on Greystar’s hiring practices, local legal requirements and talent acquisition systems and processes.
• Promote and manage a positive candidate experience and communicate as appropriate with candidates and hiring managers on the status of the hiring process.
• Ensure compliance with local employment regulations and legal requirements as well as all related aspects of GDPR.
• Manage the applicant tracking system to ensure efficient recruitment and onboarding processes as well as a positive user experience.
• Support the production of regular recruitment activity reports/dashboards for leaders.
• Perform administrative support responsibilities including interview scheduling, candidate communication and team reports.

Experience & Skills:

Essential:

• Experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, gained within a recruitment agency or in-house environment.
• Experience and interest in real estate or financial services industries.
• Extensive experience in sourcing and headhunting, preferably within a highly competitive or niche market.
• Experience in managing end-to-end recruitment lifecycles.
• High attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, to work effectively to deadlines and show good judgement under pressure.
• The ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment and to work collaboratively to drive results and support the wider team and business objectives.
• A positive team player with strong customer-service and influencing skills.

Desirable

• Experience in sourcing and/or headhunting for roles across multiple European locations.
• Additional European language skills – ideally German, French or Dutch.
• CIPD qualified or in progress (or relevant industry qualification).
