Job Summary
To assist all Stage Team Members over the day to day operations of the Stage and
ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to.
The Stage Hand reports to the Stage Manager.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Advanced organizational ability and time management skills required.
Ability to be flexible, adaptable and capable of doing several functions at once with
deliberate speed and accuracy without immediate and constant supervision.
Effective communication skills – written, verbal and body language.
Ability to work independently and work well with others with the goal of consensus
building within GFT’s Team Member framework.
Maintain open lines of communication with the Stage Team.
Strategic planning skills are an asset.
Stage hands are responsible for ensuring the stage is kept clean and tidy before and after all events. You will be required to be on stage during performances to move props on and off the stage.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week
Salary: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
