Salary: MPR/UPR plus TLR 2E (£4,782 PA)

We have a middle leadership opportunity for a talented Teacher to join the us to lead on student development across the academy.

The role:

In this role you will lead on the personal development of students across the academy. Some of the responsibilities of this role are as follows:

• Plan and implement the personal development programme for all students
• Plan, deliver and review meaningful employer interactions and communicate the careers and employability work taking place in your Academy to pupils, parents, staff and employers
• Measure impact of interventions by monitoring and evaluating activity and collecting feedback from pupils and parents
• Be the key link with the local community to enhance control relationships

The City of Peterborough Academy was opened in September 2013 by Greenwood Academies Trust (GAT) after a £13.8m capital build. Based on Reeves Way in Peterborough, the academy has quickly grown from strength to strength. A dedicated team of staff aim to help support every child in reaching their full potential. Additionally, we have been described as a truly ‘inclusive school’ at our recent National Inclusion Quality Mark inspection and have also been awarded ‘Centre of Excellence Status’. We were also ‘runners up’ at the 2020 National SEN awards for National Most Inclusive Practice.
