Greentown & Eastern Howard School Public Library Hiring for Children’s Library Branch Manager Job at Greentown, IN Full Time

The Greentown & Eastern Howard School Public Library is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and inspiring Children’s Branch Head Manager to empower children from infant through 5th grade to become creative thinkers, enthusiastic readers and resourceful users of information.

Responsibilities include overseeing the children’s library, supervising staff, scheduling library classes, preschool programming, after-school programming, readers’ advisory, summer reading, and other managerial duties.

The ideal candidate will develop ideas for preschool programs, STEAM programming and other types of programs within the Library. The selected candidate will be an advocate for the library, with strong skills in creating and maintaining school/community partnerships

Qualifications include 3 years of library experience or 9 hours of college level Library Science credit, experience presenting programs for ages 0-12 and excellent technical skills. Benefits include PERF, paid vacation, sick/personal leave and holidays.
