Greenlight Innovation Hiring for Quality Specialist Manufacturing at Burnaby, BC Full Time

Our equipment is process-system related: pumps, heaters, pneumatic components, electronic and electrical components, mechanical parts, and assemblies, controlled by proprietary software. Responsibilities include:

• Ensure effective quality controls are implemented and adhered to throughout the manufacturing process.
• Conduct product and process audits as required to assess compliance and potential gaps.
• Interface with design engineering ensuring specifications are defined, documented and clearly communicated to manufacturing.
• Identify concerns (product, process, supplier), assess operational risk and failure costs, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate manufacturing teams, applying tools and techniques to facilitate resolution of quality concerns.
• Develop, maintain, and report on plant quality Metrics/KPI’s.
• Prepare and communicate plant quality performance results to plant leadership.
• Champion quality improvement projects and drives ‘Delivered Quality’ improvements.
• Ensure processes and techniques are lean, reliable, cost effective and supportive of LEAN/CI manufacturing principles.
• Manage the MRB process for plant related material dispositions.
• Other duties as required.

Skills and Experience:

• Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline with 5+ years quality management experience in an electro/mechanical manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), experience interacting with multiple stakeholders.
• Good understanding and experience applying quality tools, measurement systems analysis, inspection sampling plans, 8D problem solving and root cause analysis, PPAP, FMEA.
• Knowledge and experience of the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 QMS
• Proficient with MS Office suite and software apps for data analysis. Sharepoint, minitab and SAP experience preferred
