About the Role

Talent Advisors serve an essential support role at Greenhouse Talent. Working directly with job seeking educators, Talent Advisors ensure that user profiles are thoroughly and accurately completed. They do this by:

• Completing prescribed training prior to interacting with candidates
• Preparing for candidate interactions by reviewing all material uploaded to the candidate’s profile
• Screening candidates using Greenhouse Talent review protocols and rubrics
• Thoroughly completing all screener documentation (interview notes and scoring, teacher video scoring, etc.)
• Participating in monthly norming sessions

Candidate Requirements

All candidates for the Talent Advisor role must possess the following:

• At least 1 full year of experience evaluating and/or coaching K-12 teachers as an administrator or formal teacher leader role
• A track record of proven effectiveness in previous roles
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Flexibility and persistence
• The ability to work in an independent, remote setting
• Openness and responsiveness to feedback
• Experience with public schools (charter and/or traditional)

Other requirements

• Use own internet, computer, and phone capabilities (landline or cell with unlimited minutes)
• Be available to complete at least three screenings a week (approximately 5 hours)
• Be able to provide at least three hours a week of availability for video interviews during weekday nights (5-8PM Central) and/or during weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday)
• Respond in a timely manner to staff inquiries regarding use of selection model, interview documentation, and other related administrative requirements.
• Manage personal scheduling accurately and efficiently, being in constant communication when emergencies and unexpected circumstances arise.

Compensation

Talent Advisors are contracted employees that are compensated at the rate of $75 per completed candidate screening. Any non-screening work such as training and norming meetings will be compensated at the rate of $50 per hour.
