Greenhouse Hiring for Machine Operator at Mississauga, ON Full Time

Greenhouse is seeking an experienced, results-oriented Machine Operator with previous food manufacturing experience to join our team. As the Machine Operator, a member of the production team, you will be responsible for carrying out specific production tasks in the processing and packaging of bottled juice and nut milk products. The Machine Operator is responsible for working safely and efficiently while following good GMP practices.

Machine Operator Responsibilities Include:
Operating a high speed bottle filling line, up to 10,000 bottles per hour.

Ensuring quality control

Leading the line team of two to three production workers packing product

Making machine adjustments as necessary

Carrying out and leading product changeovers, both product and packaging

Carrying out cleaning activities for the line, CIP and COP

Monitoring quantity of product to target

Maintaining the GMP condition of the line

Skills & Qualifications:
Previous food manufacturing experience preferred

Must have attention to detail and follow prescribed production methods

Experience operating machinery

Ability to work at a quick production pace

Ability to lift heavy objects up to 20 kgs

Job tasks will involve standing for long periods of time

Work in a cold / wet environment
