Position Overview

We are looking for a Junior LCA Analyst to join our fast-paced and dynamic team. The Junior analyst will report to the Senior LCA Analyst and conduct LCAs for Green Story clients independently. Additionally, the Junior Analyst will conduct on-going research for updated data on textile production processes. The candidate will be part of an LCA team from both India and Toronto, Canada.

Responsibilities:

· Conduct comparative life cycle assessments for Green Story clients focusing on the textile sector with cradle-to-gate and cradle-to-grave analyses.

· Define and recommend the LCA boundaries (eg, cradle-to-grave)

· Undertake technical research for impact assessment.

· Speak to clients and suppliers about supply chains and processes of production.

· Gather necessary data from suppliers to implement in LCAs.

· Compile and verify analysis results to offer clients findings and insights.

· Create reports for client LCAs declaring all assumptions and tools used.

· Coordinate with internal and external members that are needed for LCA completion.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

· Bachelor of Science or higher degree in Environmental Studies, Textiles, or Engineering (similar degrees will be considered on a case by case basis).

· Textile experienced candidates will be prioritised.

· Must have experience working on environmental life cycle analysis tools (Thinkstep GaBi Software a plus).

· Certifications or training in LCA is beneficial.
