Position Name: Finance Associate

Role: Administration of multiple finance and accounting systems to provide valuable and reliable insights into Company cash flows, general ledger balances and overall business performance. Cross-functional and dynamic collaboration within the company to generate accurate, timely and complete financial information which support solid business decision-making. The role is a hybrid work structure offering both office-based work and remote work during the week. The Finance Associate will report to the Corporate Controller.

Primary Responsibilities:

Manage daily, weekly, and monthly cash balances

• Review and analyze various cash flow activities from different sources
• Research and provide understanding for any variances to operating plans
• Forecast financial operating priorities

Maintain reporting standards and ledger integrity

• Month-end closing analysis and journal entry posting
• Reconcile account balances and tie-out to the general ledger
• Monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting deliverables
• Compile, analyze and summarize other data as may be requested within the normal course of the Finance department

Accounts Payable (A/P) transactions and Vendor Management

• End-to-end A/P process and transaction flow
• Purchase order review/resolution
• Post invoices, credits, returns, adjustments
• Enter payments and various bank transactions
• Execute weekly payment processes
• Checks, wire transfers & ACHs
• Primary point of contact for A/P-related inquiries
• Vendor statement reconciliations

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related business discipline
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in finance and/or accounting
• Self-motivated and highly professional
• Strong attention to detail with ability to prioritize
• Highly effective problem-solver
• Great communication skills in various formats
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products
• ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system experience
• Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
