Full Job Description

Green Mountain Union High School in Chester, Vermont is seeking a Social Studies teacher for the 2023 – 2024 school year.

The ideal candidate will also have relevant teaching experience that demonstrates the following:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of classroom management and instructional skills
  • The use of differentiated instruction to support all students
  • The use of formative assessment to provide student feedback and to adjust lesson delivery
  • The use of technology to transform teaching and learning
  • Dedication to providing a safe and respectful learning environment for students
  • Excellent teaching, organizational, planning, written and oral communication, and collaboration skills

Qualified candidates must hold or be eligible to hold a valid VT Educator License with an Endorsement in Social Studies and able to teach at the grades 7 – 12 level

Background Check Required. EOE.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,720.00 – $91,520.00 per year
