About the Job

Main Purpose of the role
The primary purpose of this role is to create and manage the IT infrastructure of the Group businesses to provide stable, reliable, and future-proof IT to our people and our customers. In addition, this role is responsible for the development of new and existing IT systems through hands-on programming.

Responsibilities:
  • Create and manage the Group businesses’ IT infrastructure, including hardware and software, ensuring that our IT equipment is fit for purpose and supports the business growth.
  • Identify and procure the skills and capabilities required to deliver IT services and systems to support current and future business needs.
  • Manage and coordinate the IT support process, manage the IT Support Technician, and ensure a top-level service is delivered to the business, as well as hands-on involvement in urgent and complex support issues.
  • Managing IT processes and policies to meet compliance standards including data protection, information security, and the safeguarding of IT services.
  • Managing the purchasing and configuration of IT equipment, and negotiating with third-party vendors and suppliers to ensure the businesses are receiving quality and value IT hardware and software.
  • Lead IT projects and initiatives, partnering with managers and heads of departments to deliver sustainable IT solutions and support automation.
  • Manage and support a growing IT team, including regular reviews, identification of training and development requirements, coaching and mentoring, and any required ad hoc recruitment.

  • Prioritization:     ability to prioritize tasks aligned with business requirements

  • Planning: the     ability to plan and execute long-term company strategy
