Greater Shepparton City Council, situated in the heart of the Goulburn Valley, is the fourth largest provincial centre in Victoria and has a well-developed economy due to its strong agricultural and irrigation base, with major industries related to food processing, manufacturing and transport. Early Childhood Educator – Diploma

Salary: $67,104.96 per annum pro rata
Closing: Friday 12 August 2022
Part Time (30 hours per week) – Temporary (To 23 December 2022)

Greater Shepparton City Council’s Children’s Services have an Early Childhood Educator – Diploma position available at Arthur Dickmann Children’s Centre. This position is currently based in the Explorers room supporting 2 year old children. This is a great opportunity for an educator to join the team at an exceeding rated service.

The position is temporary until 24 December 2022 – 5 days per week, 6 hours a day (30 hours per week) in accordance with the service roster. Additional hours may be available to support service rostering.

The role supports the team in facilitating a holistic, play based curriculum where the children’s interests, culture and abilities are the foundations for developing each child’s self-confidence to succeed.

Note: This position is subject to a 6 month qualifying period in accordance with the Fair Work Australia minimum employment period.
