Great Southern Bank Hiring for Financial Analyst Job at Brisbane Full Time

The Finance Analyst supports the cost centre owners, for the COO / CTO business ensuring that the monthly accounts accurate and robust, variances and deviations from forecasts are clearly understood so that management action can be taken. This includes the preparation of budget and forecast workbooks alongside the cost centre owners, performing adhoc deep dive analysis and supporting the production of the Group Self Service tools
As the finance analyst you will create, drive and embed sound financial and commercial practices across your division
A little bit about you…

• Experience in management accounting with the ability to foster working relationships with key stakeholders in your cost-centre areas
• Fully qualified or part-qualified accountant
• Strong financial analysis abilities coupled with Advanced Excel skills
• Tenacious and resilient with the ability to communicate clearly and translate financial concepts into lay terms
• Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and change
