Great Scott Financial Services is an established, successful firm in Bethlehem, PA. We are seeking an experienced Investment Analyst to join our team.

In this position you will provide the firm with investment strategies that fulfill varying clients’ needs and objectives and coordinating all activities relating to investment decisions and the investment process. We offer a unique approach typically not obtainable through a one size fits all portfolio. This individual should have a keen interest in customized asset allocation with a passion for investing and solid knowledge of global financial markets. This position focuses on asset allocation and portfolio strategy; maintaining a robust portfolio construction and monitoring process.

As an investment analyst, your responsibilities will include:

• Investment performance analysis, leading in-depth analyses of individual portfolios and identifying and participating in process improvement initiatives.
• Manages and coordinates delivery of investment performance measurement support and resolution of performance questions and issues.
• Manages calculation and analysis of complex reporting situations using previous industry experience and performance reporting query tools.
• Contributes to the construction and optimization of our asset allocation and model construction process.
• Assists in all steps of the investment process including due diligence, preparation, and presentation of investment committee materials
• Evaluate and review asset allocation, risk, investment strategy and other investment decisions on an ongoing basis to ensure optimal performance.
• Create customized proposals and portfolios primarily for high net worth individuals.
• Overall support of the principal in the implementation of our investment strategies.

MINIMUM Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of relevant investment analysis experience
• Fixed Income experience required, additional derivatives product experience preferred.
• Knowledge of risk modelling techniques and strong display of portfolio construction expertise.
• Previous experience in performance analysis and portfolio implementation including: model performance, attribution analysis, portfolio drift, allocation monitoring, large scale portfolio rebalancing.
• Attention to detail and an ability to multi-task.

Highly Preferred:

• CFA designation (or willingness to obtain) or graduate degree in business, finance, economics or related area strongly preferred as well as applicable FINRA license(s)
