Assembler

· Location: Delta, BC -Canada

Purpose:

Assists with assembling and ensures that all parts, machines and sub-assemblies are built to specifications, drawings and BOM requirements and maintains the standard of quality expected by us.

Primary Duties:

• Assembles, fits and installs prefabricated parts to form subassemblies or completes product assembly using hand and/or small power tools

• Reads, interprets and follows drawings, BOM’s and other specifications to determine assembly requirements

• Ensures that all products meet specified tolerances, while following and meeting all quality standards essential to our company

• Assists with training of new employees upon request .

• Maintains safe work practices by using all required safety equipment and procedures

• Maintains work area in a neat and orderly manner to facilitate efficient processes and good safety practices

• Carries out other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience: Background in assembly and/or related experience preferred

• Manufacturing experience is considered an asset

• Mechanical aptitude

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Excellent organizational, time management skills and ability to multitask

• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

• Able to lift minimum 50lbs

Tools/Equipment Needed:

Steel toed safety shoes

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.00-$21.00 per hour

Additional pay:

• Bonus pay

• Delta, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
