Great Plains Transport Hiring for Trucking Dispatcher/ Load planner Full Time

We are looking for a detail-oriented, experienced professional to join our ship planning department. The Load Planner will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of loads at our various transportation hubs. This position requires quick decision making and attention to detail, and we are seeking an individual who is willing to work early mornings in an office environment. Main Responsibilities

· Find and setup available shipments for drivers.

· Communicate the plan effectively to the drivers.

· Communicate any delays to the Immediate Supervisor and/or the freight customer.

· Be available after business hours for freight customer updates, unexpected delays, and any issues that may arise.

· Prioritize time sensitive cargo.

· Plan roughly 100 trucks per week.

· Communicate available trucks to the operations department.

· Source loads from brokers when needed.

· Assist with load planning for other Lead Dispatchers.

· Master truck list to operations department at 10:00 AM Daily.

· Work directly with shippers and customers for shipping needs.

· Also includes any other responsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisor.
