Contract HR Generalist

Seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join a reputable manufacturing company in Moorpark, Ca. This is a short term contract, but the right person may be considered for permanent placement.

Summary:

As an HR Generalist you will be responsible for assisting the team with a wide range of projects related to HR compliance, recruiting, onboarding/orientation, employee benefits, and company programs.

Responsibilities:

• Primarily responsible for running ADP payroll for approximately 100 employees.
• Handling the onboarding process.
• Screen, recruit, and interview potential employees.
• On-board and train new employees.
• Provide management with requested s and documents.
• Efficiently and confidently maintain employee files.
• Familiarize with employment laws focusing on employment eligibility and confidentiality.
• Aide Employee Benefits Management in relation to plan renewal, open enrollment, benefit enrollment/termination, and troubleshooting employee benefits issues.
• Protect operations by keeping information confidential.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
• Assist with any aspect of HR related duties. Such as Worker’s Comp., Benefits, Recruiting, etc.

Requirements:

• Experience with ADP
• Strong experience in HR Management and Recruiting
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office
• Exceptional organizational, planning, and time management skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills
• Must Excel as an independent and confident thinker and be a strong team contributor
• Ability to have immense amount of discretion and confidentiality

Salary:

• $28-$32 hourly

This is a short term contract, but a highly skilled person may be considered for the permanent spot.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $28.00 – $32.00 per hour
