POSITION: Operations Logistics Associate (Part-TIme)

LOCATION: San Antonio Great Hearts Online warehouse, Available CST Hours

FLSA: Hourly ($20/hr) Seasonal – Approximately 20 hours/week

Position Summary

The Operations Logistics Associate is a seasonal role within the Great Hearts Online operations team. The Logistics Associate, under the direction of the Director of Academy Operations, will assist the Operations Managers with day-to-day operations and logistical actions. In partnership with Great Hearts Online leadership, the Logistics Associate will provide our Academy faculty and families exceptional customer service and perform job duties as outlined below.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Logistics Associate will have roles and responsibilities aligned to the below.

• Receive shipments at the GHO warehouse
• Update inventory records, unpack shipments, and organize all shipments in the warehouse
• Tag and update inventory tracking document for all electronic assets (laptops, doc cams, drawing tablets, etc.)
• Break-down and package bulk items into individual packages

• Pack SSKs and TSKs
• Assist the DAO and OMs to prepare for in-person pick-up event(s)

Education and Professional Experience:

• High School Diploma
• Recent experience with Great Heats curriculum and textbooks

Additional requirements

• Able to lift up to 50lbs
• Able to climb up and down stairs, up to 7ft in height
• Highest level of trust and discretion.
• Experience with MS Office

Type of clearance:

Must complete Texas Department of Public Safety fingerprint clearance and background check. Must also successfully complete the Breakthrough coach course in July.

Physical functions: Requires but is not limited to lifting boxes, books, and supplies up to 50lbs. Standing, sitting, repetitious hand and body movements, bending, squatting, and reaching.
