Our Southfield Practice Support Center is hiring for an Application Architecture Manager in our Information Technology department!

The Application Architecture Manager plans, coordinates, and supervises all activities related to the design, development, and implementation of organizational software applications. This position is responsible for maintaining, supporting, and upgrading existing systems and applications. Additionally, this position is responsible for guiding the development team on issues related to the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical information and software systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all In-house software development and support/ maintenance activities.
• Mentors developers to create an environment of continual growth and improvement
• Maintains a development work environment conducive to hiring quality local developers
• Identifies, documents and enforces application coding standards
• Leads design meetings to identify, resolve and document technical design alternatives and issues
• Acts as a Technical Subject Matter Expert for all applications developed in-house
• Preparations and presents technical designs to internal and external customers
• Develops and verifies application code as defined by high-level requirements
• Develops test scripts and tests application code as needed
• Produces and reviews test output for verification with project manager and/or content owners
• Documents and revises code based on test results and code reviews

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed within are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) and at least five years’ related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Microsoft .NET development and design (C#.NET, MVC, MVP) experience required (5+ years)
• Microsoft SQL database development experience required (5+ years)

• Experience developing responsive browser-based applications required (5+ years)

• Experience with frameworks such as NodeJS, React.JS, Angular, Bootstrap, etc.
• Experience with issue management tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira
• Experience with source code control tools such as TFVC or Git
• Self-motivated and directed – independent worker; effectively prioritize and multi-task.
• Good data analysis and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Hands on experiences and expertise in all stages of the SDLC.
