The Role:

We are seeking a Amphitheater and Event Venue Finance Director for the Graystone Quarry venue including FirstBank Amphitheater. FirstBank Amphitheater is a new boutique amphitheater South of Nashville, TN located in a reclaimed rock quarry with seats for 7500 fans. Teaming up with Live Nation to book the best live performance and touring groups around the world we will be working hard to deliver fans an amazing concert experience.

This position is part of the core management team and will be a blend experienced management thinking with hands-on analysis and accounting. This person must be a self-motivated individual with the ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities:

• Interact with General Manager and team to address any accounting matters at the venue

• Maintain and record routine accounting transactions for ticketing, food and beverage and any other venue operations or event promotion expense

• Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely settlements

• Involvement in venue meetings during the review of venue forecasts, budgets and variances to actual results

• Analyze areas of expense reduction and revenue enhancement

• Responsible for the consolidation and review in all month-end reporting and statements

• Review all reconciliations for bank accounts, general ledger accounts, various sub-ledgers, etc.

• Process accounts payable invoices, manual checks and wires

• Provide audit support as needed

• Work with Tax accountant for financial reports and filings

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA preferred

• Four to five of comparable experience – experience with Venue finance/accounting preferred

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail

• Possess excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of internal controls. Must be able to maintain proper internal controls and enhance efficiency when possible
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, ability to integrate internal applications to increase team efficiencies
