Gray Rock Quarry Hiring for Excavator Operator/Quarry Worker at Milton, VT Full Time

Gray Rock Quarry in Milton, Vermont is looking for an Excavator Operator/Quarry Worker. We are seeking a reliable, safety minded, self-motivated candidate to assist with various duties at our facility. Candidate must be able to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Experience operating an excavator is required. Pay is dependent on experience with operating excavators and various types of heavy equipment. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: equipment operation, performing general maintenance, and assisting with daily production duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Must be committed to providing and promoting a safe work environment
• Must be able to operate an excavator safely and efficiently
• Perform routine inspection and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
• Willing to learn and help where needed at the facility
• The willingness to work extended hours if needed

Gray Rock Quarry is a family run business that supplies blasted rock and crushed gravels and stones to the local construction market. We operate and maintain crushers and several types of heavy equipment including excavators, haul trucks and loaders to accomplish our production and sales goals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $27.50 per hour

Experience:
