Grandview Heights Schools is partnering with Syntero to find a dedicated School-Based Clinician to serve in our entire school district, K-12. The clinician would be apart of the Syntero team, but he/she would serve the Grandview Height Schools students and staff directly. Position Summary

The School-Based Mental Health Clinician at Syntero is responsible for providing mental heath prevention services to students in a school setting, addressing their mental health needs, and promoting overall well-being. This role involves conducting assessments, developing prevention plans, and delivering individual and group prevention sessions. The School-Based Mental Health Clinician s to the School-Based Coordinator, ensuring effective collaboration and coordination with school staff and other professionals.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group mental health prevention services to students in a school setting.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and community resources to support students’ mental health and well-being.
• Implement evidence-based interventions and therapeutic techniques to address students’ emotional, behavioral, and social challenges.
• Monitor and evaluate students’ progress through ongoing assessment and outcome measurement tools
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of prevention sessions, assessments, and treatment plans.

Job Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or psychology or BSW/LSW
• Valid licensure as a mental health clinician in the state of Ohio
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions for common mental health disorders in school-aged populations
• Ability to collaborate effectively with school personnel, parents, and other community stakeholders
