SUMMARY

Responsible for superior guest services in the reservations department, reservation accuracy, modifications and refunds of all advanced resort sales.  The primary focus of the Supervisor is to work closely with Director of Sales, Lodging & Guest Services to seek increased revenue opportunities and strategies.  A key part of every employee’s job is to serve as a Targhee Ambassador, engaging the guest at every opportunity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but not limited to; other duties may be assigned.

• Act as a Reservation Agent, ensuring accuracy in all bookings
• Manage and review day-to-day operations of the reservations department, including scheduling, training of employees, staff development, payroll approval and paperwork while upholding company standards
• Provide on-going feedback to the Director of the program, acting as the liaison for the reservations team
• Create a positive and professional work environment
• Support data drive initiatives and goals
• Establish and implement Standard Operating Procedures necessary to continue advancing the departmental training programs and efficiencies
• Review rate plans, rate sets, and packages, tax coding and ledger transfers
• Administer room/groups blocks for masters
• Manage over-bookings and review availability
• Make suggestions based on call center/guest feedback 
• Create and manage group information and group bookings·Alert Front Desk staff to any possible conflicts in Reservations or Property Management. 
• Acts as a liaison between Reservations and Front Desk and assist as needed
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and quality
• Utilize a “solutions” based approach to inaccuracies or conflict
• Assists the Department Director in updating rates in systems

RESPONSIBILITIES TO SAFETY

1. Protect the safety of self, co-workers, and Grand Targhee Resort guests at all times.
2. Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay
3. Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor
4. Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures as outlined in the resort’s Occupational Safety & Health Compliance Manual and department-specific procedures or manuals
5. Operate equipment in a safe manner that will not lead to injury of yourself or others
6. Drive in accordance with the law and Grand Targhee Resort policies

QUALIFICATIONS

A Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Hospitality or Sales preferred, or two years related experience and/or training.

Excellent communication skills and guest service mentality required.  Must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently, as well as with team members.  Basic computer skills in Word and intermediate to advanced skills in Excel required.
