In this role, we will rely on you to ensure that all accounting activities related to revenue generated by the company are error-free and in compliance will all applicable laws, rules and regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION:

• Plan and oversee the auditing process
• Evaluates performance and progress in the Revenue Accounting, Cage and Count Team Departments to look for improvement opportunities.
• Developing, training, advising, supporting and coaching all Associates of Revenue Accounting, Cage and Count Team Departments.
• Review team member’s work for accuracy and compliance
• Directs the timely and accurate reporting of all revenue generated by the company as well as all Gaming and Tax reconciliations.
• Present audit findings and find ways to increase compliance and efficiency.
• Assures all financial activities comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
• Prepares and files tax documents with the State and Federal Government.
• Coordinates monthly journal entries for financial reconciliation of revenue and balance sheet accounts.
• Troubleshoots system errors and/or audit questions.
• Cooperates with Internal and External Auditors, Compliance, and Investigations as necessary.
• Oversee the Revenue Accounting Department, Cage Cashiers, and Count Team.
• Oversees maintenance contracts with equipment manufactures for Revenue Accounting, Cage and Count Team.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration from an accredited school required.
• Minimum of five (5) years progressively responsible related experience, preferably in the gaming industry or casino operations required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of working with Title 31 (Bank Secrecy Act) and Anti Money Laundering regulations.
• Supervisory/managerial experience with specific general and revenue accounting experience required.
