Retail Sales Associate

Grand Appliance and TV specializes in providing customers with a customer-focused shopping experience in state-of-the-art showrooms featuring top quality brands. We are looking for smart, motivated individuals who want to earn strong commissions and grow within a rapidly expanding company.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Responsible for engaging retail customers and businesses through all stages of the sales process; initial contact, qualifying needs, and closing sales
• Manage orders from point of purchase through completion.
• Develop in-store merchandising, including setup of displays, display maintenance, and related tasks.
• Promote Grand’s advertising and marketing campaigns in-store.
• Additional duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Must be friendly and customer-centric with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to locate information quickly via online searches.
• Understand different product lines and offerings.
• Participate in initial, and continued product training.
• Ongoing management of a book of business for both retail and business-to-business customers.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; applicable work experience and/or training will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience selling major appliances or electronics is preferred, but not required

Benefits and Compensation:
Compensation: This is a commission-based position. In addition to commissions, employees are eligible for bonuses through outside vendor spiffs and internal performance bonuses. Motivated sales professionals may earn from $70,000.00 to $100,000.00+ per year.
