Graham C-Stores Co is seeking to fill a full-time Accounting Finance position in Wadsworth, IL. This qualified candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our company.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports.
• Responsible for month end close procedures for general ledger, creating and posting general journal entries, recurring entries and real estate tax accruals.
• Monthly trail balances and margin analysis.
• May assist with tax filings including but not limited to monthly motor fuel tax filings, sales tax filings, use tax returns, and year end 1099-MISC, 1099-K, and 1098.
• Oversight of banking activity, daily reconciliations and accounts receivable postings.
• Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets.
• Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements.
• Create new processes to improve financial efficiency.
• Report analysis and findings to management team.

Qualifications:

• 2-4 year degree with a BS in accounting.
• Previous experience in accounting or other related fields.
• Experience with computer accounting programs and tax software.
• Detail and deadline-oriented with strong initiative, follow-through with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Excellent written and interpersonal skills.
• Fuel tax reporting and retail experience a plus.
