Grade Potential Tutoring Hiring for In-Home 1st/2nd Grade Teacher – Mercer Island at Mercer Island, WA Full Time

I have an immediate need for an in-home 1st/2nd grade tutor on Mercer Island. School is out and they want tutoring over the summer. The family would prefer 1 tutor but would be okay with 2 tutors.

The student is going into 2nd grade in the fall at Lakeridge Elementary School. He will be working with us for his reading, writing, and math skills.

The student is currently struggling to understand the concepts that he needs to know and will want guidance and clarification through these tutoring sessions. His teacher provided materials for him to go over during the summer.

The goal is for the student to be confident and comfortable with his academics by the time he starts 2nd grade in fall.

Mom wants 1.5 hour sessions 4 times a week. Available Monday through Thursday 11am-5pm as well as Sundays from 11am-5pm.

Job Requirements

• Tutor must be willing to work at the student’s home in south Mercer Island off of 92nd Avenue SE between the southern end of Pioneer Park & Clarke Beach Park.
• Minimal travel required to meet with student (you decide the distance you are willing to travel, typically 5-10 miles)

Mon-Thur 11am-5pm

Sun 11am-5pm
