Graceland University Hiring for Assistant Professor, BSN Program Job at Independence, MO Full Time

The Graceland University School of Nursing seeks an Assistant/Associate Professor (11 months) Registered Nurse (RN) for our growing undergraduate BSN programs. This is a face-to-face teaching position in Independence, MO.

Required Qualifications:

· Eligible for unencumbered licensure as an RN in Missouri

· A minimum of 2 years RN licensure

Current Medical/Surgical, Critical Care experience, other areas considered.

· Graduate of an accredited BSN and MSN Program

· Able to assume a full-time faculty position

Preferred Qualifications

· Earned doctoral degree

Previous teaching experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities as Assistant/Associate Professor:

· Manage courses in the BSN programs

· Lead in the development and instruction of didactic and clinical courses

· Provide service appropriate to the position

· Engage in scholarship appropriate to the position

· Demonstrate excellence in practice

· Strong organizational, planning, and evaluation skills

· Ability to demonstrate attention to detail

· Excellent communication skills, oral, written, and telephone

· Ability to work independently and/or collaboratively within a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $62,000.00 per year
