Position : Engineering Manager

Location : Melbourne, FL area (relocation assistance available)

commutable from Cocoa Beach, Melbourne, Rockledge, Titusville, etc.)

Description : The Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading a team of Engineers in providing manufacturing problem resolution and process improvements in a heavy industrial manufacturing plant environment.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering – REQUIRED
• 2+ years Engineering Manager / Leadership experience
• 5+ years experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a heavy industrial / metals manufacturing plant environment – preference for those working with aluminum or mild steel
• Experience in an automated, PLC-driven environment
• Background in either automotive or welded tubing preferred
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles
• Stable employment history
• Must be authorized for working in the U.S. without visa sponsorship or transfer (no visas will be sponsored or transferred for this position)

Salary will be commensurate with education / experience. We are currently focusing our sights on candidates whose experience will command around $115K-$125K.

However, candidates whose salary requirement is slightly above this may still be considered.
