ABOUT THE POSITION

The Finance Manager is responsible for the annual and semi-annual report creation, any additional required reporting, filings, and management on behalf of our publicly traded company on the Australian Exchange (ASX:GQG). This role will report to the Corporate Controller by supporting additional financial analysis, special projects as needed, and continuously looking for opportunities to scale and improve processes and automate. The role requires a proven finance and reporting professional with a strong mix of analytical, reporting, and financial modeling experience. This role will also provide financial information about all company activities that will assist management, its shareholders and other users in providing the information and data as required by local authorities, our clients, and the corporation.

The ideal candidate would have a strong business sense, in-depth quantitative and analytical thinking skills, and the ability to proactively work across the organization. Strong attention to detail, ability to gather, analyze, synthesize data and provide reliable and accurate conclusions with interpretation will be essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage public company reporting
• Management of annual/semiannual report process including the coordination of business areas to result in final deliverables. Examples include:
  • Annual report
  • Semi-annual report
  • Earnings presentations
  • Monthly, quarterly, periodic filings communicating information to the market
• Shareholder relations support
  • Presentations
  • Analysis requested by management
  • Analysis in connection with analyst or shareholder inquiries and working with legal to ensure communication is not MNPI
• Manage process surrounding Annual General Meeting
• Finance management for Australia office including oversight and quality control of payroll, finance and tax vendors
• Holistic management all services provided by Link, registrar for GQG’s tradable CDIs including but not limited to:
  • Reconciliation of registrar reports
  • Collecting, verifying and reporting investor information
  • Management of quarterly dividend process
  • Management of meeting logistics
  • Coordination of employee portal
  • Conversion of GQG common stock to CDIs
  • Coordination with HR and Link on vesting of RSUs to CDIs
• General vendor management in Australia as assigned (for example HSBC branch)
• Modeling – new opportunities, forecasting
• Systems expertise and database analysis / reporting
• Create and deliver board / management reporting
  • Systematic management reporting package
  • Create reporting and analysis to increase business insight – examples – sales channel profitability, regional profitability
• Coordination with Company Matters as requested by legal
• Finance projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 3-5 years managing the reporting function for an Australian public company (reporting, filings and management of registry experience)
• Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting/finance experience, preference for 2 or more years in public accounting
• Preference for experience in an asset manager or related service company
• Systems / database analysis expertise
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
• Highest level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Flexible, organized and able to manage competing priorities
• Ability to work in an intense environment under tight deadlines while contributing thoughtful and high-quality work product
• Strong communication and analytics skills and ability to translate qualitative and quantitative insight for audiences that are less technical or less experienced
• Attention to detail and ability to explain, visualize and translate information in a fast paced and demanding environment, where markets, client demands, and internal requirements evolve rapidly and require continuous adaptation
• Structured, deliberate and methodical approach to work and responsibilities
• Inclusive and collaborative working style that can balance technical and analytical requirements with communication and relationship management skills
• Experience with ASX portal
• Strong in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel user, including pivot tables, V-lookups
