The Role

Reporting to the Financial Accounting Manager, you will help support our business strategy which is to significantly grow sales and profitability by leveraging the strengths of our market position, store and distribution footprint, brand equity, industry knowledge and people.

You will contribute to the broader finance team while ensuring that the Shared Service Accounting team deliver operational and performance reporting to ensure the success of the Australian and New Zealand businesses.

What You Will Be Doing

• Ensuring all month end reconciliations, journal entries and regular monthly reports are completed on time with 100% accuracy
• Processing all relevant journals in a timely and accurate manner
• Investigating and resolving inaccuracies and anomalies that arise.
• Completion of daily and weekly reporting
• Contributing to the annual budget process
• Front line support for relevant P&L queries and issues
• Support of the overall team and our customers in the delivery of high-quality results
• Adhoc projects as required
• Ability to work autonomously when required

About You

The ideal candidate will be degree qualified in finance and/or accounting, have previous experience working in a team environment. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are essential. You are a self-starter with excellent communication skills and the ability to influence others.
