Job Description

Gpac is working with an agriculture logistics company in Northern Indiana to hire a Logistics Coordinator . This position is pivotal for the success of the operation to manage drivers’ schedules and company accounts.

The ideal candidate will have a background in over-the-road freight hauling, past truck driving experience, or a history of working with brokers and load boards.

Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities :

• Main source of communication with driver regarding load information, maintenance coordination, and dissemination of pertinent information between the company and the driver
• Effective management of fleet operations
• Ensure drivers have all of the information they need to effectively perform their duties
• Manage driver miles, hours of service, and on-time pickup and delivery of loads
• Ensure driver availability and accommodate special route needs
• Enforce company policies
• All other duties and projects as assigned

Logistics Coordinator Requirements :

• Strong driver management experience
• Experience with load boards and / or brokers
• Previous truck driving experience preferred
• Strong oral and written communication
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to multi-task and deal with high pressure situations
• Ability to lead others and solve problems
• Motivated to succeed!
