The role

GP Synergy is seeking an experienced and committed Senior Finance Officer who shares our values to join our team.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Finance Officer is jointly responsible for maintenance and accuracy of GP Synergy’s accounting system primarily through the accounts receivables and payables functions, and adhoc processing of bank reconciliations and involvement in month end processes.

The role also plays a significant role in the development and ongoing management of GP Synergy’s divisional budgets.

The overall function of this role delivers an efficient and high-quality accounting service to internal and external stakeholders with a focus on customer relationship management.

Essential duties includes:

• Accounts payable and expense claims.
• Accounts receivable and receipting.
• Support other accounting functions.
• Manage accounting portfolio areas as directed by the Chief Financial Officer.

Selection criteria

To be considered for this opportunity, it is essential that applicants meet the following criteria:

• Formal qualifications in accounting or bookkeeping.
• Extensive experience in bookkeeping role, using accounting software (e.g. MYOB)
• Extensive experience in payroll processing.
• Current Drivers Licence (desirable)
