We are looking to recruit recent graduates and those with relevant professional or industrial experience to join our highly successful teaching teams. The Teaching Academy is an initial teacher training programme where you will learn about pedagogy and gain practical experience of classroom teaching, through observation, team teaching and micro teaching sessions. You will demonstrate a passion for your discipline and an enthusiasm for working with young people to enable them to progress onto their next stage of learning or employment.

GCS is sector leading in the field of A level boasting outcomes well above national comparators. Our successful vocational areas see learners competing at a top level in World Skills competitions and progressing successfully onto their chosen employment/higher education. We are looking to grow our excellent teaching teams and develop more ‘home grown’ talent, ensuring future staff possess the right values, ethos and skills to become successful lecturers at the College.
