The Medical Services Branch, Ministry of Health is seeking a responsible individual to fill a full time permanent Operations Support position. This branch manages the Medical Services Plan for the purpose of providing coverage to Saskatchewan residents for insured medical services and out of province hospital services.

In this position, you will handle incoming and outgoing mail, document incoming cheques, prepare claims for processing, enter medical and hospital claims information for computer processing and operate high speed printers. In addition, you will answer basic questions on the telephone from doctors, clinics, and the public, scan documents, retrieve claim and payment information plus file related documentation. You will also update and enter large volumes of medical claims data into various software applications under very tight timelines. The ability to accurately enter in codes at speed is required.

Note: This position requires lifting of boxes up to 15 kilograms on a regular basis.
