The People, Development & Capability team provides a range of strategic and operational human resources services and support to GV Health and its associates, including Yea and District Hospital and the Hume Rural Health Alliance. The People, Development & Capability team consists of Talent Acquisition, Health, Safety & Wellbeing, Injury Management, Employment Services, Employee Relations, Organisational Development, and metrics/reporting.

About the role
As the Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will work closely with GV Health Managers to provide advice, guidance and coaching around sourcing, attraction and selection of new employees. You will collaborate with the Manager Talent Acquisition in the application of the employee value proposition and identification of contemporary pipelines and initiatives to source and attract top talent to GV Health with a local, national and international recruitment focus.
You will enjoy applying your creative flare to support the design of engaging campaigns to address current and potential future talent shortages and you will have the opportunity to develop new approaches and initiatives to attract candidates to the wide array of careers at GV Health. You will also be involved in contributing to the approach and design of targeted initiatives for industry events, career expos, round tables and other relevant attraction opportunities.
Supporting an assigned portfolio and working closely with relevant stakeholders and managers to assist with addressing workforce needs you will also have a key focus on building our workforce to meet the resourcing requirements as part the $229M redevelopment program.

We are looking for

- Qualifications in Human Resources or other related discipline and or equivalent relevant work experience
- A sound knowledge of sourcing strategies and current attraction methodologies (including social media, internet job marketing and other cutting-edge technologies / platforms)
- Experience in a fast-paced customer service environment and ability to problem solve
- A high standard of verbal and written communication for a variety of audiences

Selection Criteria
- Essential : Commitment to the GV Health Values of Compassion, Respect, Excellence, Accountability, Teamwork and Ethical Behaviour and ability to exhibit behaviour which reflects our values.
- Essential : Qualifications in Human Resources or other related discipline or equivalent relevant experience
- Essential : Extensive computer literacy skills, including word processing, document formatting, desktop publishing and report creation
- Essential : Experience in a fast paced customer focused environment
- Essential : A sound knowledge of sourcing strategies and current attraction methodologies (including social media, internet job marketing and other cutting edge technologies)
- Essential : Ability to work to tight deadlines and conflicting priorities and must have excellent problem-solving skills
- Essential : A high standard of verbal and written communication for a variety of audiences
- Essential : A satisfactory National Criminal History Record Check, Victorian ‘Employee’ Working with Children Check and completion of a Commonwealth of Australia Statutory Declaration will be required from prospective candidates prior to commencement of employment.
