Your Check will be assessed to determine your eligibility to work within a NDIS role. If you do not receive clearance from the NDIS Worker Screening Unit or you do not agree to participate in the Scheme you cannot be engaged by a NDIS provider.’
All appointments are made subject to satisfactory Victorian ‘Employee’ Working with Children’s Check. Completion of a Commonwealth of Australia Statutory Declaration is required prior to commencement. About the role
The Administration and Finance Officer for GV Health Home Nursing Service, is responsible for the provision of reception, data collation, and advanced secretarial, financial and budgetary support to the Manager of Home Nursing Services.
The Home Nursing Services incorporates GV Health District Nursing Service (DNS), Hospital in the Home (HITH) and GV Health Regional Continence Service. Services are delivered within several funding streams including, but not restricted to: Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) Home and Community Care (HACC), Continence Support Scheme (CSS), Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA), Private Nursing, Hospital in the Home (HITH) and National Disability Scheme (NDIS).
The Home Nursing services team provides support/service to approx 110 consumers each day, 7 days a week, accross the region. this is a large team of general and specialist nurses. The administration and finance team is essial in this conitnuity of service to our community.
We are looking for:
- Qualifications in office administration or equivalent,
- Broad understanding of database systems, and the ability to input, extract and analyse data.
- Demonstrated understanding of cash based and accrual-based accounting.
- Ability to complete financial tasks including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Contract Administration, within specified timeframes.

Selection Criteria

- Essential : Qualifications in office administration or equivalent

- Desirable : Experience of contract management systems and processes.
- Essential : Broad understanding of database systems, and the ability to input, extract and analyse data, with utilisation software systems to undertake a wide range of data analysis activities, including an in-depth understanding of spreadsheets.
- Essential : Demonstrated understanding of cash based and accrual-based accounting.
