We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Office Manager. Our medical office provides high-quality care to patients and we need someone who can help us provide excellent customer service and efficient administrative support. Some of the responsibilities of an Assistant Office Manager may include:
Staff Management: Help with the recruitment, hiring, and training of new staff members. Assist with scheduling, supervising, and evaluating office staff.
Patient Flow Management: Manage the flow of patients in the office, ensuring that appointments are scheduled efficiently, and that patients are checked in and seen by medical staff in a timely manner.
Medical Records Management: Oversee the maintenance and management of patient records, ensuring that they are accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
Billing and Insurance: Assist with billing and insurance-related tasks, including verifying patient insurance coverage, and collecting payments.
Inventory and Supply Management: Responsible for managing inventory and supplies in the office, ensuring that necessary medical and office supplies are available and properly stored.
Compliance: Ensure that the office is compliant with applicable laws and regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, and other healthcare regulations.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Overall, the Assistant Office Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that the medical office runs smoothly and efficiently, supporting in managing the daily operations of the office, and contributing to the success of the practice.
