Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in Cloud Sales or Business Development roles.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience selling infrastructure software, databases, analytical tools, applications software, or cloud solutions. Familiar with Google Cloud.
  • Experience working with/managing partners in complex implementation projects including global system integrators and packaged software vendors.
  • Experience in the education tech and startups/digital scene in Australia and building up the ecosystem.
  • Experience with large, complex commercial and legal negotiations, working with procurement, legal, and business teams.
  • Ability to work with sales engineers and customer technical leads to inventory existing software estate, define migration plans, and build business cases for migrations.
  • Ability to be independent and have a challenger mindset.

You will be responsible for building and managing a pipeline promoting Google in the Eduction Technology sector across the AUNZ region. You will be comfortable with selling cloud solutions to large accounts, building relationships, promoting the value of technology in education, building solutions, and closing large agreements. You will also demonstrate experience prospecting, growing an account list, and leveraging channel relationships to increase business achievement.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for growing the ed-tech sector (digital focused) in Australia. Build and deepen executive relationships with customers. Influence long-term strategic direction for their products to be on the Google Cloud Platform and serve as a business partner.
  • Help develop and execute a territory business plan, build account plans which result in a robust growth pipeline, and achieve quarterly quotas and goals.
  • Manage multiple opportunities through the entire business cycle simultaneously, working with cross-functional teams as necessary, and serve as the primary customer contact for all business/adoption-related activities, including agreement facilitation.
  • Understand each customer’s technology footprint, strategic growth plans and business drivers, technology strategy, and competitive landscape.
  • Drive business development, forecast accurately, and achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.
