Minimum qualifications:
- 5 years of relevant work experience in finance transformation.
- Experience in international statutory reporting processes and procedures on a multinational scale.
- Experience in supporting systems and implementing tools (e.g., Order-to-Cash SAP implementation with multiple deployment phases such as SAP BRIM, FICA, Tax, and/or Revenue Recognition).
Preferred qualifications:
- Professional Accounting qualification.
- Experience in system implementation for Enterprise SaaS business on a multinational scale.
- Experience executing large multi-geo projects strategically and tactically.
- Experience working within the software and platform industry.
- Willingness to learn and challenge the status quo while supporting business needs.

As a Process Lead, you will have the chance to shape and execute on a multi-year transformation that has high impact on the international processes for the business. You will ensure that future accounting processes and systems meet Google’s needs internationally.
In this role, you will represent International Controllership on cross-functional project teams and working groups, collaborating closely with Tax, System Engineering, and Cloud/Consumer Product business teams to implement SAP solutions that will support regional Cloud/Consumer Product finance business needs, improve automation of financial processes including business growth recognition and billing, and ensure data integrity.
You may be required to travel and attend meetings outside of core working hours to enable collaboration with a globally located team.

From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Finance subject matter expert on regional Cloud/Consumer Product finance processes and related system solution implementations, responsible for driving solutions for international requirements and considerations throughout the development, from design through deployment.
- Partner with local Transformation Leads, Functional and Technical System Solution Architects to define scope, perform fit/gap analysis, and collaborate on solutions for integration key points, design decisions on all aspects of the System (or Software) Development Lifecycle.
- Collaborate with US Cloud/Hardware Finance team to define and drive documentation of current and specific state business processes and related systems flow with emphasis on International Controllership impact.
- Develop relationships with the Country Controllership and Regional Business Controllership teams, Cloud/Hardware Finance, Tax, Engineering, Operations, and Central Finance Project Management Organization.
- Drive change management for impacted controllership end users and processes.
