As a HR People Consultant, you will be a leader of Google’s culture and values, partnering with our business leaders to help them build their organizations and make sure all people decisions are based on data.
You will recognize HR trends and gaps across Google by building relationships, and use that information to drive global consistency for programs. You’ll dig into consultation data to find patterns and surface insights, translating them into meaningful and forward-thinking HR interventions that grow change within organizations and countries.
Additionally, you will help channel information from our organization to functions/countries and vice versa, which will allow People Partners and business leaders to have the necessary information to make great people decisions.

Responsibilities
Identify opportunities to improve HR policies and propose solutions to improve inconsistent HR policies and gaps.
Triage inquiries and connect employees to the right subject matter expert when necessary.
Assist People Partners with planning and roll-out of HR programs and initiatives.
Advise on performance management challenges and lead minor investigations and reorganizations.
Provide HR support and consultation to the business, answering employee and manager queries about HR programs, policies, and other HR-related topics.
