Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience as a software developer, architect, technology advocate, CTO, or consultant working with web or mobile technologies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working directly with large partners, or with press and bloggers.
  • Experience programming in one or more of the following languages: Java, .NET, PHP, Python, or Ruby.
  • Experience blogging and writing technical articles.
  • Experience presenting to large technical audiences.
  • Excellent public speaking skills.

About the job

You will produce APIs for Google’s advertising products and help partners make the most of those APIs. You will provide strategic guidance and solutions by bridging the gap between internal/external and technical/non-technical stakeholders.

Our goal is to revolutionize the ads ecosystem making advertising easy and accessible to all through technology and guidance. We are strategic partners that work with the 3rd-party engineers who are building applications and businesses with Google’s Ads API.

You will provide architectural guidance to partners and create and maintain open source solutions that can be used across multiple use cases. You will help foster a community of developers working with Google technologies and help drive the strategy around our Developer Relations. You will advocate for product direction based on your team’s interactions with our partners.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance to our Google Ads Partners. Identify strategic solutions to our Partners’ problems.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams in defining roadmap and prioritizing the needs of our partners.
  • Guide strategic partners in building scalable and efficient platforms using the Google Ads API.
  • Participate in technical and design discussions with technical executives at strategic partners to speed adoption and ensure best practices during implementation.
