Goodwin Recruiting Hiring for Account Director – Meetings & Events at Dallas, TX Full Time

We are a successful, long-time organization that helps companies plan and execute corporate meetings and events as well as design travel-based corporate incentives. We are looking to add an experienced Account Director to our team. If you have 5 or more years of experience planning, budgeting, preparing, and executing large, 500-plus-person corporate events, we want to talk to you!

Account Director Rewards

• Starting salary of $78,000 to $85,000 depending on experience

Account Director Requirements

• Five or more years of similar experience as an account manager or director
• Intermediate or advanced level of expertise with Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Office
• Intermediate or advanced level of expertise with the Supplier and Event platforms of Cvent
• Ability to travel up to 30%
• Experience with budgeting, proposal creation, contract preparation and negotiation, site inspections, program planning, etc.
• Have strong attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills
• Able to work with limited supervision
• Professional appearance and demeanor, especially when meeting with clients in person or corresponding via webcam, over the phone, and through email

Account Director Responsibilities

• Plan all components of sales meetings, trade shows, and incentive programs
• Negotiation of contracts
• Preparation of proposals
• Budget preparation and management
• Creation of program themes
• Travel for site inspections and to oversee the event itself
